LAFCM Family, Members New and Old,
Remember this month's meeting is not the fourth
Monday, due to the 3rd Monday falling on the 10
year anniversary of the LAFCM. THIS MONDAY,
July the 19th, is our 10 Year Anniversary. Please
come and enjoy your celebration.
We, the board, have been planning this for some time
and are excited to have this opportunity to
celebrate 10 years of the forming of this chapter of
the FCM. Please come and bring a guest to celebrate
with us.
PLEASE NOTE: this meeting has been moved to 7 P.M.
instead of 7:30 P.M.
We have a special guest, Past President of the FCM,
Steve Varo, flying in to join us in this joyous
event.
We have many exciting things planned: Some of them
include awards, cake and a SPECIAL GIFT for our
members.
We will be meeting in the Inner
Circle for this Special event and the Castle has
made it easier for us to get to the inner circle by
going around the right side of the building/entry,
directly to the room. They will be laying a red
carpet out in the walkway to that
side entrance especially for our celebration. But
please check in at the front desk before coming
around to the side to enter the celebration.
Please join us this Monday, July 19th, 2010, At 7pm
or 1900 hours, to celebrate the history of the
LAFCM, along with the fun and fellowship. I look
forward to seeing everyone there.
I understand there are many members that are unable
to make it to the celebration. We will be praying
for you in whatever adventure you are doing. This
event will be video taped and documented for Member
viewing pleasure at a later time.
By the way, we
have asked the AMA to have the bar open in the inner
circle, and
we encourage you to buy soft drinks and the like
from the bar. The
Magic Castle has been so gracious to us over
the last 10 years to allow us to use the facility at
no cost, that we want to encourage our members to
invest a little in their profits to cover a little
overhead. I'm sure that other people passing through
will use the bar as well and maybe join us to
celebrate--and we welcome them.
We may just plant a seed for Christ by leaving the
event open to all. It could even be a brother or
sister who has lost his/her way. Only God knows the
impact we will have on the people through His divine
appointment at the Castle on that very night. Lets
be gracious to all who join us as we testify to His
Blessings on our organization.
